Acini di Pepe

Acini di Pepe are named for their shape of little peppercorns, although in truth they are even smaller, closely resembling a hefty couscous. This shape is an Italian's first introduction to pasta as it is the base for an infant’s first dish of “pastina”. Acini di Pepe continues to be a part of our lives in Italian Wedding soup and other hearty broths.
