Almond Pizzelle

The pizzelle is a flat, round cookie (the name actually means "flat and round") with a waffle-patterned surface. It originated in Abruzzo, and went forth to appear at Christmas, Easter and Italian weddings without number. Our Almond Pizelle provide authentic golden color, crisp texture and delicious, buttery flavor. They're excellent with coffee or can be used to make ice cream sandwiches and hazelnut spread sandwich cookies.
