Marinated Artichoke Hearts
The artichoke is a hot-weather vegetable, actually the flower bud of the artichoke plant, with the succulent hearts contained within the bud. Artichokes flower only in climates with long, warm days. Italians have many uses for those earthy, tender, mildly sweet hearts, including salads, antipasti or sautéed with other vegetables over pasta. We offer artichoke hearts in brine or in an oil-based marinade with spices, and in a variety of sizes so you can choose the one that’s right for your dish.
