Natural Sea Salt Coarse

Our Sea Salt is harvested by hand from naturally occurring salt marshes in Portugal, where it is raked into piles to dry, as salt farmers have done for millennium. It contains minerals such as iron and calcium and has a flavor and texture unlike any ordinary table salt. And this salt is not just good for you and your recipes—our Portuguese partners received the 2001 Slow Food Award for the Defense of Biodiversity in acknowledgment of the care they take with the salt marshes where our sea salt originates.
