Whole Hearts of Palm

Hearts of Palm are a vegetable delicacy harvested from the core of palm trees on farms in Ecuador. The strands of the light-colored flesh have a tender, yielding texture and a flavor not unlike artichoke hearts. Hearts of Palm are a welcome addition to a variety of salads.
