Al Pesto alla Genovese Dressing (with Basil Pesto)

Basil Pesto Dressing

Because there are so many more uses for pesto than the classic pasta dish, this dressing combines fragrant basil, the nutty taste and texture of walnuts and smoky Dijon to create a flavorful addition to any salad.

Ingredients:

  • 3 tablespoons DeLallo Balsamic Vinegar
  • 1/2 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon DeLallo Pesto alla Genovese
  • 3 tablespoon Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • 1/4 cup walnuts, chopped
  • Salt and pepper

Directions:

In a bowl, mix balsamic vinegar and Dijon mustard. Add pesto to bowl, slowly whisking in extra virgin olive oil. Combine mixture with crushed walnuts, salt and pepper to taste. Whisk dressing again before serving.
