Crab Stuffed Pepperazzi™

If you like crab and don't mind a little kick to your peppers, you're going to love a favorite antipasti recipe of ours: Crab Stuffed Pepperazzi™. Perfect for any occasion, our spicy-sweet peppers combine great flavor and presentation for your guests—young and old alike!

Ingredients:

  • 1 tablespoon DeLallo Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • 2 tablespoons chopped green onion
  • 8 ounces canned crabmeat, drained
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1 tablespoon mayonnaise
  • 1/2 teaspoon dry mustard
  • 2 tablespoons DeLallo Plain Breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 teaspoon DeLallo Minced Garlic in Water
  • 1/4 teaspoon Old Bay Seasoning™
  • DeLallo Natural Fine Sea Salt
  • Ground black pepper
  • 12-15 DeLallo Pepperazzi™, drained
  • 1/2 cup Takashi Japanese Panko Breadcrumbs

Directions:

Preheat oven to 400˚F.

In a large saucepan, heat olive oil on medium-high. Sauté onions for tenderness. Remove from heat and allow to cool for about 3 minutes.

In a large mixing bowl, combine green onions with crabmeat, egg, mayonnaise, mustard, DeLallo breadcrumbs, garlic and Old Bay™. Once thoroughly combined, salt and pepper to taste. Using a spoon, stuff each pepper with filling.

Arrange Pepperazzi™ on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Sprinkle with Panko Breadcrumbs. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes, or until golden.

Serve warm.
