White Wine & Lemon Aperitivo

This is certainly a grown-up's lemonade! While it is seemingly simple, with only a few ingredients, this cool beverage is sure to impress.

Ingredients:

1 bottle (750 ml) dry white wine
3 heaping tablespoons sugar
Zest of 2 lemons, thick strips
Juice of 2 lemons

You can substitute DeLallo Imported Italian Lemon Juice, if you don't have any fresh lemons.

Directions:

Combine the white wine, sugar, lemon zest, and lemon juice in a large pitcher. Stir until the sugar is completely dissolved. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours.

Fill the pitcher with ice and serve the aperitivo.
