Giuliana on Growing Up & Cooking in Abruzzo

Like many Italians-Americans, Giuliana learned to cook from her mother and grandmother, but her family has more direct ties to Italy than many. In this lyrical segment Giuliana describes the town in Abruzzo where her mother grew up and her grandmother and family still lives. Palena has a rich food culture, which is still very much alive.
