The Olive Picker: Starting the Olive Harvesting & Curing Process
In the eighth part of the California Olive series, harvest has begun! We watch the olives picked by hand into large buckets, then transferred within 24 hours to the DeLallo/Ehmann plant in Orrville, California, where they are graded, sorted and put into large tanks of brine to begin their journey through the curing process. Follow the olives from orchard to store in the rest of the California Olive series.
