Greek Feta Turkey Burger

Whether grilled or made on your stovetop, these burgers are a family favorite, brimming with tart olives, briny feta and all the Greek flavors you love. Easy enough for a weeknight meal, served with cool, creamy cucumber sauce.

Ingredients:

  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 1/2 cup DeLallo Greek Feta Salad, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 4 tablespoons DeLallo Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • 1/4 cup chopped red onion
  • 1/2 teaspoon DeLallo Natural Fine Sea Salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon DeLallo Lemon Juice Plus

Serve with:

  • 4 fresh rolls
  • 4 slices tomato
  • 4 lettuce leaves
  • 1/2 cup Tzatziki or sour cream
  • 8 slices cucumber, optional

Directions:

In a large bowl, combine ground turkey with chopped Greek Feta Salad, dried oregano, 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil, onion, salt, pepper and lemon juice. Shape mixture into four 4-inch patties.

Heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a large skillet on a medium-high setting. Add burgers and sauté until cooked through, about 8 minutes. Flip burgers to cook evenly.

Serve burgers in buns topped with lettuce, tomato and a few spoonfuls of Tzatziki or cucumbers and sour cream.
