Affogato, the word for “drowned” in Italian, makes the perfect after-dinner alternative to coffee and dessert! This simple treat is a delicious way to entertain your dinner guests, long after the main course. If you don't brew espresso, no fear! Just brew your morning coffee selection a little stronger! Directions:Scoop ice cream into a water glass. Pour one shot of espresso, or demitasse, over ice cream. One shot per serving. Top with whipped cream and serve immediately. |
