Grated Pecorino Romano

Romano is the traditional sheep’s milk cheese produced prominently around Rome and on the island of Sardinia, but grated and served on pasta all over southern Italy and around the world. This salty, piquant cheese can be sprinkled on any pasta dish, as well as on vegetables or as a garnish atop tomato soup.
