Lasagna

In Italy, the lasagna we make here in the U.S. is called lasagna al forno, or baked lasagna, to distinguish it from the many other regional uses for the lasagna form of pasta. Combine our Lasagna with a beef ragù and béchamel in the style of Emilia-Romagna, or experiment with dressing the pasta with butter, sugar and sautéed poppy seeds, as they do in Trieste. These lasagna sheets have the ruffled edges.
