  • Make the pizza dough. Combine flour mix and yeast packet in a large mixing bowl with 1 1/4 cups lukewarm water. Stir with a fork until dough begins to form.
  • Knead by hand for 3 minutes, or until dough is soft and smooth. Transfer to a clean, lightly oiled bowl and cover tightly with plastic wrap. Allow the dough to rise in a warm place until doubled, about 45 minutes.
  • Preheat the oven to 400 degrees. Brush a 10”-12” diameter baking dish or cast iron skillet with olive oil. Create round dough balls with the dough approx 1”-1 ½” diameter. Place around the perimeter of the baking dish. Brush the tops of the dough balls with the pesto sauce.
  • In a mixing bowl, add ½ of the shredded mozzarella, the cream cheese, pinch of salt, parmesan cheese and the garlic powder. Mix well. Place in the center of the baking dish, press down evenly up to the balls of dough.
  • Add the pizza sauce on top of the cream cheese mixture, sprinkle the rest of the mozzarella on top, sprinkle the pepperoni on top of the cheese. Loosely cover the top of the dish with aluminum foil (leaving enough room for the dough to rise upwards too).
  • Bake for 15 minutes, remove the cover, bake for an additional 10 minutes. Remove and enjoy!
