Ingredients

  • 4-5 slices bacon
  • 1 tablespoon DeLallo Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • 1/2 large onion, diced
  • 4 cups veggie or chicken broth
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • ¼ teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon red chili flakes
  • 1 (16-ounce) box DeLallo Potato Gnocchi
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese

Directions

  • Add a drizzle of olive oil to large pot or deep skillet. Add your bacon and cook until crispy. Remove bacon from pan, place on a paper towel on a plate. Remove bacon grease from pan.
  • Add your diced onion to same pan, sauté for about 3 minutes. Add your broth. Simmer for 2 mins. Slowly add in your heavy cream. Add in all seasonings. Slowing incorporate your shredded cheese. Add your gnocchi. Cook for 3 minutes. Serve and top with more shredded cheese and crispy chopped
