Weeknight Bolognese Sauce

Homemade pasta sauce doesn’t have to take hours to prepare. This simple Weeknight Bolognese Sauce comes together quickly without skimping on flavor.

INGREDIENTS

• 1 (6.7-ounce) jar DeLallo Soffritto Sautéed Vegetable Cooking Base
• 1-pound ground pork
• 1 teaspoon salt
• ¾ teaspoon ground black pepper
• 5 tablespoons DeLallo Tomato Paste
• 1 cup milk
• ½ cup water
• 3 tablespoons white wine

DIRECTIONS

1. Heat Soffritto in a sauce pan over medium heat. Add ground pork, salt and pepper, and sauté until cooked through. Stir in remaining ingredients.
2. Cover and allow the sauce to simmer for 25 minutes over medium heat.
3. Serve with 1 pound of your favorite DeLallo Pasta. We recommend Mezzi Rigatoni or Egg Pappardelle with grated Parmesan-Reggiano.
