Mrs. DeLallo's Baccala Salad

This is Mrs. DeLallo’s famous baccala salad and an absolute must try.

  • Prepare and soak your baccala at least 3 days prior. View our blog post to learn How To: Christmas Eve Baccalà.
  • Heat a large pot of water over high heat and bring to a boil. Blanch cauliflower for 2-3. Remove from heat and place directly into a prepared ice bath.
  • In same pot of water, boil prepared baccala until flaky, about 5-6 minutes. Drain well.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine cauliflower, baccala, garlic, olives, peppers oil and lemon juice. Toss well.
  • Add salt and pepper and fresh parsley and toss well again.
  • Cover and chill overnight before serving.
