Sour Cherry & Ricotta Toasts

This elegant app or snack that brings together the creamy sweetness of fresh ricotta cheese and our signature tangy, fruity Sour Cherry Spread. Enjoy on its own or serve alongside an elaborate cheese board and antipasti presentation.

INGREDIENTS

1 loaf crusty Italian bread
DeLallo Extra Virgin Olive Oil
1 (10-ounce) jar DeLallo Sour Cherry Spread
1 pound ricotta cheese
Zest of 1 lemon

DIRECTIONS

Preheat oven to 400˚F.
Slice bread at a 45˚ angle. Brush both sides with olive oil.
Bake bread slices for 7-8 minutes, or until they become golden brown.
Remove from oven and allow to cool for 5 minutes.
Spread ricotta cheese on toasts. Top with sour cherry spread and lemon zest.
