  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook pasta according to package instructions. Drain, reserving 1/2 cup of hot pasta water.
  2. In a large pot, cook the pancetta over medium heat until browned and crisp, about 6 minutes. Using a slotted spoon, transfer pancetta to a plate and reserve the drippings in the pot.
  3. Add the oil and garlic and cook over low heat, stirring occasionally until the garlic is fragrant and light golden, about 6 minutes.
  4. In batches, add the kale and cook, tossing until wilted, about 3 minutes. Season with salt and pepper.
  5. Add the pasta, pancetta, tomatoes, lemon juice and reserved pasta water. Cook stirring until a sauce forms, about 2 minutes.
  6. Divide pasta mixture among bowls and serve.
