Air Fryer Gluten Free Gnocchi Bites

Our friend Lindsay of @cottercrunch has taken pasta up a notch with this Air Fryer Gnocchi. They're perfectly crispy on the outside, super soft on the inside, and gluten free! All you need is gnocchi, butter, and seasonings, and you're on your way to making a fun snack the whole family will love.

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 box (12-oz.) DeLallo Gluten Free Mini Gnocchi
  • Water and salt for boiling
  • 1 tbsp. DeLallo Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • 1-2 tbsp. gluten free chili powder mix or taco seasoning of choice (use 1 tbsp. if seasoning pack serves less than 4) - adjust according to taste
  • 2 tbsp. grated Parmesan
  • Cooking oil spray
  • Dipping sauce of choice

DIRECTIONS

  1. Boil gnocchi according to package directions. Place cooked gnocchi in a large bowl and toss with 1 tbsp. olive oil.
  2. Add the seasoning (Chili powder mix or Taco seasoning) to the bowl and gently toss with the gnocchi, evenly coating each piece.
  3. Add the optional grated Parmesan and mix to combine.
  4. Preheat the air fryer at 400 F. Once preheated, spray the air fryer with cooking oil spray. Then layer the gnocchi evenly into the air fryer basket.
  5. Cook for about 10 minutes, shaking gnocchi halfway. The gnocchi should be crispy on outside and still a bit soft on the inside.
  6. Remove and serve with the dipping sauce of choice for a gnocchi “tot.”
  7. Bonus Serving Option - Add air fried/seasoned gnocchi to a large cast iron pan. Cover with spicy red sauce and mozzarella. Place in broil for 2 minutes. Remove and enjoy!
