  • Cook pasta according to package directions. Drain, reserving ½ cup pasta cooking liquid.
  • Meanwhile, heat oil in large skillet over medium heat. Reduce heat and add garlic and anchovies. Simmer on low for 20 minutes. While mixture is still warm, add butter.
  • Bring heat back up to medium and add tomatoes. Cook for 6-7 minutes, stir in the red pepper flakes and then add the kale. Cover and cook for 10 more minutes, until kale is tender and wilted.
  • Add beans, pasta (and water if needed), salt and pepper and toss. Serve with grated Parmesan cheese.
