Orecchiette With Chicken In Goat Cheese Sage Sauce

A creamy, rich pasta dish perfect for company! Starring our “little ears,” this orecchiette dish is an easy, but elegant, presentation made to be its own conversation piece.

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 (1-pound) package DeLallo Orecchiette
  • 1 1/2 cups heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 5 ounces soft goat cheese
  • 1/2 cup DeLallo Grated Parmesan
  • 2 large grilled chicken breasts, diced
  • 2 tablespons fresh sage, chopped
  • 3/4 cup dried cranberries
  • Salt and pepper to taste

DIRECTIONS

  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook pasta according to package instructions.
  2. While pasta is cooking, warm cream and butter in a large saucepan over medium heat. Once melted, add goat cheese and Parmesan. Stir until thickened.
  3. Toss chicken and cooked pasta with sauce in saucepan. Stir in sage and cranberries. Salt and pepper to taste. Cook together for 2 minutes to marry flavors.
  4. Serve immediately.
