Three Greens Orecchiette with Pesto

For those of us who can’t get enough green! We introduce our toasty, nutty Whole-Wheat Orecchiette to a tasty sauté of our favorite greens: sweet peas, broccoli rabe, chopped green onions and our beloved Basil Pesto.

INGREDIENTS

DIRECTIONS

  1. Bring a large pot of water to a boil. Cook pasta according to package instructions.
  2. In a large saucepan, sauté olive oil with onion, broccoli rabe and pepper flakes.
  3. Cook together for about 5 minutes, or until vegetables are tender.
  4. Stir in cream and peas. Cook together for 2 minutes, stirring continually.
  5. Add pesto. Stir to thoroughly combine.
  6. Toss with hot pasta in saucepan and cook together for another 2 minutes to marry flavors. Serve immediately.
