Creamy Pesto Pasta with Sun-Dried Tomatoes image

This cheesy pasta recipe is big on flavor and easy on time. Amp up your weeknight dinner lineup with this creamy comfort (soon-to-be) classic.

INGREDIENTS

1 (1-pound) package DeLallo Organic Whole-Wheat Farfalle
1 1/2 cups heavy cream
4 ounces mascarpone cheese
4 ounces grated Parmigiano-Reggiano, plus more for serving
1 tablespoon DeLallo Traditional Basil Simply Pesto® Sauce
8 DeLallo Sun-Dried Tomatoes, drained and chopped
2 tablespoons chopped fresh basil

DIRECTIONS

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook pasta according to package instruction.
Meanwhile, heat cream and mascarpone in a large saucepan on medium-low heat.
Once sauce is formed, whisk in Parmigiano and pesto. Add sun-dried tomatoes. Cook together for about 5 minutes to marry flavors. Stir in fresh basil.
Add hot pasta to the pan and stir to coat. Serve sprinkled with fresh grated Parmigiano.
