Summer BBQ Charcuterie and Spicy Skewers

Get ready to wow your friends when they come over for your backyard BBQ and see this amazing charcuterie board filled with spicy steak and giant shrimp skewers along with Parmesan cheese, salami and blue cheese olives. Everything is seasoned with the below products including fresh Feta cheese bites tossed in spicy hot pepper sauce or pesto for the less adventurous and mini meatballs cooked with our Peppers and Sauce. INGREDIENTS

  • Shrimp and Prosciutto Shrimp
  • 1 lb. medium shrimp, peeled and devained
  • 1 (5-ounce) package DeLallo Sliced Prosciutto
  • 1 to 2 tablespoons DeLallo Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • Freshly ground black pepper
  • Large Shrimp Skewers
  • 1 lb. large shrimp, devained
  • 2 tablespoons DeLallo Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • 2 tablespoons DeLallo Garlic Pepper and Tomato Seasoning
  • Marinated Skirt Steak Skewers
  • 1 lb. skirt steak
  • 1 (12.3-ounce) jar DeLallo Imported Hot Pepper Garlic Sauce

DIRECTIONS

  1. Shrimp and Prosciutto Skewers
  2. Soak wooden skewers in water for at least an hour, ideally overnight.
  3. Heat grill on high heat.
  4. Tear some of the Prosciutto into thin strips and wrap around the shrimp.
  5. Thread the shrimp onto a wooden skewer, drizzle the finished skewers with olive oil and season with salt and pepper.
  6. Grill over high heat for about 3 minutes each side and serve.
  7. Large Shrimp Skewers
  8. Soak wooden skewers in water for at least an hour, ideally overnight.
  9. Heat grill on high heat.
  10. Place the shrimp in a bowl and add the olive oil and seasoning and toss well to combine to coat the shrimp.
  11. Thread shrimp onto skewers and cook over high heat for about 4 minutes on each side. Serve.
  12. Marinated Skirt Steak Skewers
  13. Soak wooden skewers in water for at least an hour, ideally overnight.
  14. Slice the skirt steak onto small pieces and transfer to a bowl.
  15. Add about 1 1/2 cups of the Hot Pepper Garlic and mix well. Cover and marinate for at least 4 hours or overnight in the refrigerator.
  16. Heat grill on high heat. Once the grill is ready, thread the pieces of steak onto the skewers.
  17. Cook over a high heat grill for about 4 mintues per side. Serve.
