  1. Find the right boards to build your platters. Large cutting boards, marble slabs, slate boards or ceramic platters are great options.
  2. Start by placing the cheeses. Follow with the meats, olives and antipasti, spreads, starches then fruits and nuts. Vary the colors, textures and sizes.
  3. Consider adding bowls and jars to add height to the board.
  4. Garnish with fresh herbs (optional).
