Ingredients

  • 16-20 slices of bacon
  • 10 fresh whole jalapeño peppers, halved lengthwise and seeded
  • 1 cup softened cream cheese
  • 1 teaspoon black ground pepper
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ cup shredded Cheddar cheese
  • Topping and drizzle: DeLallo Balsamic Glaze

Directions

  • Slice jalapeños in half. Remove seeds. Set aside.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, salt, pepper, garlic powder and shredded cheese.
  • Stuff each jalapeño half with the cream cheese mixture.
  • Next, wrap each jalapeño with bacon. Secure with a toothpick.
  • Heat a nonstick skillet on the stovetop until very hot (about 10 minutes).
  • Fry peppers in the pan until bacon is crispy and cooked through. Gently turn to cook all sides. Be mindful so that the cream cheese stays in tact.
  • Serve drizzled with Delallo Balsamic Glaze.
