  • Bring 5 quarts of salted water to a boil. Cook the pasta according to package instruction.
  • Preheat the broiler. On a baking sheet, toss cherry tomatoes with 1 tablespoon oil, salt, and pepper. Broil for 10-15 minutes until tomatoes start to blister, stirring once.
  • Meanwhile, add the sauce ingredients to a blender and blend until very smooth and creamy. Pour over hot cooked pasta (off heat) and stir to mix.
  • Serve with tomatoes over the top, as well as herbs and more salt and pepper.
