Sour Cherry and Bourbon Glazed Ribs

Ribs like you’ve never had ribs! We dress these tender pork spareribs with a crazy-good homemade glaze featuring our signature DeLallo Sour Cherry Spread and a splash of Bourbon. Who needs barbecue sauce when you can fancy up your ribs with this easy-to-prepare sticky sweet, tangy-tart glaze?

INGREDIENTS

DIRECTIONS

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F.
  2. Preheat grill.
  3. Rub ribs with salt and pepper and place on grill to get a good sear on both sides.
  4. Remove from grill and place ribs on a large baking sheet and cover.
  5. Place ribs in the oven for 40 minutes without opening the door.
  6. Reduce oven to 250°F and cook for 1 ½ hours.
  7. Meanwhile, place cherry spread, honey, Bourbon, balsamic and mint in a saucepan and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 10-15 minutes.
  8. Pull ribs out of oven and remove cover. Brush glaze on both sides of ribs and cook for 30 minutes.
  9. Remove from oven and let rest covered in foil for 5-10 minutes. Brush more sauce on ribs if desired and serve.
